Eleven years ago on September 11th, 2001 I packed my school things into my little '93 Honda.

Eleven years ago on September 11th, 2001 my little brother and I argued about nothingness on the way to drop him off at Ramay junior high school.

Eleven years ago on September 11th, 2001 I parked in my spot outside Fayetteville High school and marched my happy self up to the second floor.

Eleven years ago on September 11th, 2001 I walked into my 1st period Mythology class, pumped {as most students are} do see a TV cart in our room.

Eleven years ago on September 11th, 2001 I was was really confused by everyone's serious faces as we watched what I thought we previews to a movie/lovely waist of class time.

Eleven years ago on September 11th, 2001 I noticed the news emblem in the corner of the TV.

Eleven years ago on September 11th, 2001 I, like most others in the class, thought we were watching a terrible accident.

Eleven years ago on September 11th, 2001 I watched with friends as a second plane crashed into those infinitely tall skyscrapers.

Eleven years ago on September 11th, 2001 I hear about the pentagon being hit and my lack of interest in foreign relations instantly transformed.

Eleven years ago on September 11th, 2001 I wondered what, who, how, why...

Eleven years ago on September 11th, 2001 the day continued
but
NOT
as
usual.

Eleven years ago on September 11th, 2001 my high school, homework, & drama seemed small.

Eleven years ago on September 11th, 2001 parents began checking their kids out of school.

Eleven years ago on September 11th, 2001 some classes seemed more panicked than others.

Eleven years ago on September 11th, 2001 we moved through the day from class to class. Listening. Watching. Praying.

Eleven years ago on September 11th, 2001 gas prices jumped; students cut class to fill up at the advise of parents.

Eleven years ago on September 11th, 2001 I quickly realized we were gazing at a world changed forever.

Eleven years ago on September 11th, 2001 I left school still trying to grasp the fact that I had lived before "9-11" and what that would mean.
