Christmas Light Photo Session

Bahahaha

Any of you ever actually try cute things you've seen. Maybe things you seen on... Pinterest?

Yeah. We all do. Some work. Some don't.

Have you discovered the black hole that is Pinterest? What are your pros and cons?

Pinterest totally sucks you in! I’ve set a goal for myself to try to at least start one project I’ve posted per week. Then I blog about every project I’ve completed once a month. If I just pin and don’t actually do, then I really feel like I wasted my time. When I actually follow through on projects, I don’t feel bad about spending time browsing.

    • LOVE and totally agree!
I may need to set a specific goal like your project a week and posts a month! I’ve been doing several projects but probably not that often. I’m also trying to blog about them as well but not very consistent with any posting…yet!
I have to be careful that sites like this as well as other blogs or DIYs don’t cause me to become envious and or dissatisfied with what I have, what I’m doing, or just plain who I am. That’s NOT cool. I am trying to learn the difference between helpful tools that I can springboard off with inspiration and hurtful temptation that I should FLEE.
      Thanks for sharing!!!

Totally agree with you on being careful to not be dissatisfied or envious. When I start to see myself falling into that temptation, I “ground” myself from the internet altogether!

      • I have SOOOO “grounded” myself before! I had a couple friends were really confused as to why I had no idea what was going on in the social media world ;o)
